Row 7

This is the corn row, due to its location and size.  Corn likes a large patch for pollination, and a lot of sun.
Throughout the years, we have tried the 3 sisters of corn, squash and beans, but never successfully.  The corn needs to be taller first.  Maybe we try again, as the beans this year turned out to be bush beans, and got eaten by bugs besides...  But the corn is so small and not even planted yet, and I feel a sense of urgency of time.  Will have to look into this.

Before corn is ready to plant (it likes warm soil), we sneak an early crop of items into the bed, such as a mess of arugula (a favorite of mine) and turnips (which I'm learning to love).
